Architectural Drafting in Connecticut
First settled in the 1630's by English colonists, the state of Connecticut is one of the original thirteen colonies that rebelled against the British and was instrumental in the American Revolutionary War. Connecticut industries produce heavy industrial machinery and electrical equipment, shellfish, pharmaceutical products, and scientific instruments. Despite its small size, Connecticut features nearly four hundred years of architectural styles ranging from primitive to Gothic, Greek Revival, Queen Anne, and modern. One notable historic structure is the home of Mark Twain. Located in Hartford, this 19-room Victorian is a whimsical, yet elegant testament to Twain's style and personality.
