Atlanta;

Instrumental during the American Civil War, the proud state of Georgia is the jewel of the American South. Georgia joined the Confederate States during the Civil War, and key battles were fought in Chickamauga and Atlanta. During Sherman's March to the Sea, a great section of Georgia between Savannah and Atlanta was completely destroyed. The architecture in Georgia clearly reflects its charms and triumphs. Atlanta's famous Peachtree Street features Rhodes Hall, one of the best examples of Romanesque Revival. The mansion features a beautiful series of stained and painted glass windows above a carved mahogany staircase that depicts events from the Civil War.
