Often called "The Food Capital of the World" because of its long history in farming, Iowa today has a diverse economy that still includes agriculture, but also adds in manufacturing, green energy, and biotechnology. A growing cultural destination, Iowa is home to world renowned University of Iowa, the famed Iowa Writers Workshop, and even an annual film festival. The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art houses collections by American painters Marvin Cone and Grant Wood. Famed Chicago architect Louis H. Sullivan designed the Jewel Box Bank in Grinnell, Iowa. Sullivan started out working as a draftsman for various architects before joining Adler and Sullivan as a full partner.
