Architectural Drafting in New York

New York is an important contributor to the country's economy, shining in all major areas of agriculture, industry, manufacturing, and finance. New York is home to the largest stock exchange in the world. Several notable structures are located in New York, most importantly France's gift to a young America, the beloved Statue of Liberty. New York was once home to the World Trade Center complex, which was designed by Minoru Yamasaki in the early 1960s. The tube frame design utilized steel core and perimeter columns to create a relatively lightweight but strong structure that would actually sway in response to the wind. These beautiful landmarks, international architectural triumphs, were destroyed, along with the innocent people trapped inside, by terrorists on September 11, 2001.
