Architectural Drafting in Washington
The state of Washington is the only U.S. state named after a former president. Washington has three national parks including Mount Rainier National Park and two national monuments. Washington is heavily involved in the fishing, canning, and mining industries, as well as the aerospace industry with Boeing establishing its commercial headquarters in Seattle. One of the most iconic structures in the United States is located in Washington. The Seattle Space Needle was constructed for the 1962 World's Fair and is a combination of two architectural styles: a tethered balloon and a flying saucer. The restaurant at the top of the Space Needle rotates 360 degrees every 57 minutes.
