Architectural Drafting in Wisconsin

The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division

Location: Online School

Wisconsin leads the nation in cheese production and is second only to California in producing other dairy products. Wisconsin also leads the nation in corn (silage), cranberry, and snap bean production. Milwaukee's more famous structure, the Milwaukee Art Museum, was designed by Santiago Calatrava, his first completed project in the United States. The structure features a movable, wing-like brise soleil which opens at a span of 217 feet during the day, and gracefully folds over the structure at night or during bad weather. The brise soleil is now a symbol for the city of Milwaukee.
