ITI Technical College

ITI Technical College is a technical career training school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Students at ITI Technical College can work toward one of four Certificate programs, or one of six Associate in Occupational Studies degree programs. These programs provide students with the basic skills and training that they need to begin new careers in several fields, including office administration, instrumentation and control technology, technical drafting, information technology, and more. ITI Technical College graduates have the knowledge base and practical skills to begin entry-level positions in their new careers.

The ITI Technical College programs range in length from 10 to 22 months. Students have the option of both day and evening classes, so they can earn their degrees on a flexible schedule that meets their needs. Every program in the ITI Technical College catalog includes laboratory exercises that give students hands-on practice in the skills and technology they need to begin their new careers. ITI classes are limited to 36 students per professor in lecture courses, or 24 students per instructor in laboratory classes.

ITI Technical College is focused on providing students with the complete education that they need to begin their new careers. Students in business management, for example, learn current business practices, the types of equipment they’re likely to encounter in business settings, and learn Microsoft Office software and office applications. Students also learn things like human resources, records management, and web technologies, as well as customer relations and technical writing. In short, every program at ITI Technical College is tailored toward providing students with a complete education.

Students at ITI can take advantage of the Career Services department and externship opportunities during school and after graduation. Career Services can help with job placement, job search techniques, and other valuable information to help graduates begin new careers.
