Lincoln Technical Institute

Lincoln Technical Institute is a career-training institution that offers post-secondary career training in industry specific trades. Lincoln Technical Institute is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. The ACCSCT is recognized as a national accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and the Higher Learning Commission.

Lincoln Technical Institute is located in the town of East Windsor, Connecticut just north of Hartford. The campus covers over 40 acres and features a 315,000 square foot facility that was built in 2005. The facility contains 30 classrooms, two learning labs, a cafeteria, student services offices, an auditorium, and over 260,000 feet of air-conditioned shop space.

Lincoln Technical Institute currently offers programs in auto body, automotive, motorcycle, electrical, welding, diesel, HVAC, and drafting. Lincoln Technical Institute offers programs that can be completed during the day or evening. Many of the programs can be completed within one year depending on enrollment level. The flexibility of the class schedule allows for many Lincoln Technical Institute students to be able to work, spend time with family, and enjoy recreation while still attending school.

Lincoln Technical Institute also offers students a rich student experience. The school offers several clubs that center around common fields of interest as well as several planned outings and on campus events. Lincoln Technical Institute is also located just 30 minutes away from Six Flags amusement park and Stafford Springs Raceway. The drafting program focuses on practical skill building through hands-on learning. Students will be able to use cutting edge industry CAD software, hardware, and engineering equipment. By the end of the program students will have a solid foundation of drafting skills, knowledge, as well as a portfolio of completed projects to show potential employers.
