Spencerian College

Offering two campuses in Kentucky, at Lexington and Louisville, Spencerian College offers certificate, diploma, and associate's degree programs in a large variety of fields of study including allied health sciences, business administration, and technology. The technology programs at Spencerian are found at the Lexington, Kentucky campus and include architectural CADD, architectural and mechanical project design, civil project design, civil CADD, mechanical CADD, drafting, and computer graphic design. Programs are taught on a quarterly schedule with both day and evening sessions available for flexibility. The college and its programs are accredited through the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools in Washington, DC. The college is licensed by the Kentucky State Board for Proprietary Education.

The drafting and architectural degree and programs are available to students with an interest in CADD and design. Students learn the fundamentals of design as well as basic design principles through mathematics studies, physics, geometry, and physics. Computer aided drafting systems and software utilized for technical drawing and design are emphasized throughout the curriculum. Most graduates from the program pursue and obtain successful employment as an architectural drafter, design technician, field technician, CADD operator, or technical sales representative.

Spencerian College offers an online Learning Resource Center which includes the Sullivan University System Libraries. This online resource provides students with access to materials, computer access, services, and help support from faculty, counselors, and other students. Availability to search the online library catalog is also available through this resource. A map and related web links are available through the Learning Resource Center.

Spencerian College also offers a career services department to its students complete with its own career services director trained in finding adequate employment for Spencerian graduates. Career placement assistance is available through online resources, job postings, interview and resume building workshops, and personal assistance. The services are offered free of charge.
