The Art Institutes
The Art Institutes is a system of schools that provides students with an education in fashion, media arts, design, and culinary arts. The Art Institutes consists of 45 schools located throughout North America. Students at The Art Institutes can earn a diploma, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree. Programs do vary by campus, so students should contact their local campus for information on what programs are available.
The Art Institutes provides a wide range of programs on various levels. Students at The Art Institutes can earn associate’s degrees in things like accessory design, advertising, baking and pastry arts, broadcasting, digital photography, graphic design, and many other creative and design-related fields. These associate’s programs are designed to provide students with the basic skills they need to begin new careers in entry-level positions.
The Art Institutes also provide bachelor’s degree programs for students who are interested in a more comprehensive education. Students can earn bachelor’s degrees in many of the same areas of concentration available for associate’s degree students, but with more hands-on experience, a more diverse education base, and more opportunity to develop industry-standard skills.
Students who don’t need a degree can pursue certificate or diploma programs at The Art Institutes. Certificate and diploma programs enable students to receive basic training in skills relevant to their new creative careers, without spending a lot of time in school and spending a lot of money on an education. Diploma and certificate programs prepare students for entry-level positions in their field of choice.
Qualifying students at The Art Institutes may be eligible for financial aid. Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to begin the financial aid process, and can follow up with their local Art Institutes school for additional information about school-specific financial aid programs.
