Daniel H. Burnham – A true visionary for his time, Daniel H. Burnham is actually one of the first people to work on the earliest skyscrapers. He worked out of Illinois, New York, and even Washington, D.C. on a number of groundbreaking projects to be studied by many architectural students in the world today. As you can see from any time you visit a big city, the skyscraper is one incredible structure that has lent a tremendous amount to our world of buildings and city planning well into the future.
Charles Garnier – Another incredible asset to the foundation of the world of architecture is Charles Garnier from Paris, France. His unforgettable work on many beautiful structures of the past is still the awe of many people today, whether they have a background in architecture or not. From the Casino at Monte Carlo to the absolutely stunning Paris Opera, it is easy to see why this architect is regarded as one of the most famous in the field. All one has to do is look at the amazing grand staircase and the breathtaking view of the wonderful hall at the Paris Opera House and it is easy to see that Garnier’s visions rival true genius. His work has truly been an inspiration for other architects as well as many artists.
