Vatterott College

Vatterott College is a career-focused training school that offers students post-secondary job training. Vatterott currently offers over 75 programs at 21 campus locations throughout the Midwestern United States. The school also offers several of the programs via the Internet and that can be completed entirely online. Vatterott College offers career diplomas, academic associate's degrees, occupational associate's degrees, applied science degrees, and bachelor of science degrees.

Vatterott College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology is a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.

Courses and programs are designed to provide flexibility to non-traditional students who want to pursue higher education training but have outside commitments such as family and work. Many programs are offered during the day, evening, weekend, and online to accommodate a wide variety of schedules. Many Vatterott students can continue working and caring for their families while simultaneously going to school because of the flexible class offerings.

The computer-aided drafting program at Vatterott College is offered at several of its campus locations. The drafting program prepares students for a variety of entry-level drafting positions in engineering and construction businesses. The program focuses on hands-on learning using the latest industry tools and technology. Students get the opportunity to work in computer labs designing projects for their portfolios that are then used to showcase their skills to employers.

Upon graduation, students can participate in career services workshops and meetings that will assist them in learning the skills needed to make them more employable. Skills such as interviewing, resume writing, cover letter writing, and networking are all taught in an interactive setting. Career services staff at Vatterott also can facilitate job interviews and internships through their vast network of area employers.
